🎉Differentiable HBV 2.0 (δHBV 2.0) and SUMMA integrated in NGIAB
δHBV 2.0 is a differentiable Hydrologiska Byråns Vattenbalansavdelning (HBV) model, using an LSTM and multilayer perceptron (MLP) to learn parameters. Both the hourly and daily variants are now integrated in the new release of NGIAB. More details on the δHBV work can be found in this blog post: Hourly Differentiable Modeling Arrives in the NGIAB-NRDS NextGen Ecosystem.
In addition, this release also includes SUMMA integration to enhance modeling capabilities. Background on the SUMMA integration effort is available here: Moving Hydrologic Prediction Forward — A software integration meeting at the Alabama Water Institute.
NGIAB-HPCInfra
The latest release is now synced with NGIAB-CloudInfra, aligning with Docker commit 2c3baae. This update introduces support for SUMMA and δHBV models.
ForcingProcessor
This latest release continues to improve forcingprocessor through CI/CD enhancements and minor bug fixes.
DataStreamCLI
DataStreamCLI has undergone major new additions. Learn more about the latest updates.
Ngen-DataStream
As documented in the NRDS status page, LSTM_0 datastream has been manually deployed.
NRDS Visualizer (nrds-client)
Version 1.1.1 now supports S3 Parquet output, while still being compatible with the legacy NetCDF format.
NGIAB Website
NGIAB website has been updated to include NRDS Status Dashboard and Data Visualizers.
CIROH 2i2c JupyterHub
Default pangeo image, along with CIROH Community NextGen Hub image, has been updated to the latest dask version.
